Where it
all began.
WOTEVR started with me — a mother of four children, three of whom have a form of disability. Two of my children are neurodivergent and struggle with the world around them.
Going out in public has been an issue since they were very young. But now that they're in their teen and preteen years, going out has an added layer of struggle: fashion.
Not only do they want to fit in, they want to follow the same trends as their friends and are very conscious of their clothing choices. They love streetwear and have been collaborating with me on ideas.
I wanted to create something for them that was fashionable enough to be considered 'on trend', but also provide them with the tools they need to help cope with their anxiety and feelings of overwhelm while they are out.
This is where WOTEVR was born.
